Teachers in the Oregon Instructional Network will support each other in translating the Mathematical Instructional Shifts into action by recruiting teachers to join the network and by developing and leading professional learning.

Jaimee Massie
Co-Captain
Jaimee is a passionate advocate, collaborator, and instructional leader within her district and at the state level. Through her solutions-oriented responses to challenges as a district coach in the Eugene School District and enthusiastic participation on multiple state advisory committees, Jaimee's dedication to moving education in Oregon forward is an action plan in motion.
Jaimee also has an incredible gift of elevating and celebrating teachers then connects educators with opportunities for them to share their expertise.
Jaimee's dedication to the profession has be recognized by many, including being one of the awardees of the 2017 ACE Award.
Sarah Luvaas
Co-Captain
Sarah is a committed and reflective educator with an ability to incorporate technology and high expectations into robust standards focused goals. Sarah uses her experience in Title I schools to facilitate meaningful professional development across many subjects in the Oregon City School District.
Sarah has a passion for ensuring teacher voice and culturally responsive practices are at the forefront of educational decision-making.
Sarah has been recognized for her high-quality instructional practices as Oregon's 2014 awardee of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.
